RS Focus problems_upside down view at end oops lol
im sure there are loads of things I forgotten, here is a full list of problems...
So, since having the car and given that the original cowboy garage I got it from and which seems to be endless amount of problems after problems.
I originally got the car from the garage as i knew the person for over 20 years and was told the car was in mint condition...
New Subframe Bolt as original was loose and could fall out.
New Turbo Pipe (they used plastic tie to hold it up, this caused a split pipe).
Wheels needed re aligning.
New Tyre pressure sensors.
New Tyre valvles as they were leaking.
New Instrument Cluster as that was faulty.
New Clutch (upgraded competizion) original was sticking which lead to buying the two things below.
New Cylinder.
New Flywheel?.
New Battery (they knew the one on it was faulty).
A rattle - this was caused by Rear Pads/Discs as they put wrong ones on that caused damage to discs.
Aircon completely re done as they didnt do it as it smelt really bad.
Full service as i didnt trust them as they said they serviced it. Im glad i did as the oil was black and spark plugs never been changed for example.
Spare key not being programmed (this is being done in January).
New Jet washer covers as one fell off and this lead to noticing the jet washer arm being broke and noticed they glued it together rather than buying a new one to replace the broken one.
New Dipstick which was glued (who does that).
I changed number plates as i refused to advertise the company that sold me the car.
Now for the fun part... The upgrades
Mountunes 380m
Mountunes exhaust system
Mountune Sparkplugs
Splitter kit all round
Mountune mudflaps
Mountune mats
Mountune turbo pipe

So, having very little confidence with the car. I had MOT which flew through without any adviseries and this surprised me as I was expecting something. Passing the MOT has given me final confirmation that the car is now in mint condition haha
What a journey this has been. I thought id never be in a position to say 'I can now finally start enjoy the car with cobfidence'. So apologies for rambling on.
