RTX 2060 Vs GTX 1660 Ti Vs GTX 960 | Is The GTX 1660 Ti As Fast As Nvidia Claims?
229In this video we're going to investigate if Nvidia's claims of the Geforce Maxwell based GTX 960 being up to 3x slower than the GTX 1660 Ti are true, as well as check out the performance of the 1660 Ti versus the RTX 2060. We're going to benchmark multiple games across 1080p, 1440p and finally 4k resolution.
The GTX 1660 Ti has just 1536 CUDA cores compared to the 1920 of the RTX 2060, but the 1660 ti has a slightly higher core clock. The memory clock for the RTX 2060 is faster, but the gtx 1660 ti can generally be overclocked to similar memory speeds. The other biggest difference are the absence of both tensor and ray tracing cores for the gtx 1660 ti, which means DLSS and Ray Tracing is off the table.
But the GTX 1660 ti as we demo in our benchmark and review does still have the turing architecture.
