RTX 4080 16GB SIGNIFICANTLY SLOWER Than 4090 In Benchmarks | FSR 3 To Work On RDNA 2?
Some newly leaked RTX 4080 16GB benchmarks have surfaced, giving us a preview of how the RTX 4080 16GB is SIGNIFICANTLY SLOWER than the RTX 4090 flagship GPU. We examine the latest performance benchmarks for the RTX 4080 graphics card, how it compares not only to the RTX 4090, but also the RTX 3090 Ti in performance improvements. While this is just one set of benchmarks, this still gives us a much needed look at the expected performance of the RTX 40 Lovelace card. Of course, more gaming and ray tracing benchmarks are needed for a fuller picture. We also have an update on the RTX 4070 Ti.
AMD have also teased that FSR 3 / Fidelity FX Super Resolution 3 could work on RDNA 2 / RX 6000 cards after it's announcement at the RDNA 3 launch event. Not much is known about FSR 3, including how it differs and improves upon FSR 2, and how it competes against Nvidia's DLSS 3 upsampling tech.
