DLSS 4 arrives tomorrow with the RTX 5080 and 5090 with an exclusive feature for this range, Multi Frame Generation.
Multi Frame Generation allows us to multiply the framerate with 3 options: x2 (like the conventional Frame Generation of the 40 series), x3 and x4.
The results of Multi Frame Generation are really amazing. Being able to reach 200fps in games with Path Tracing was something I did not expect for another 2 or 3 generations of GPUs.
Input lag is virtually unnoticeable as long as the game stays close to 60fps without Multi Frame.
The rest of the improvements, thanks to the new DLSS Transformer model, also apply to all RTX models in Super Resolution, Ray Reconstruction and Frame Generation (the latter only in the 40 series).
The Transformer model improves DLSS rescaling quality, Ray Reconstruction visual fidelity and Frame Generation framerate.
RTX 5080 and 5090 are able to run Cyberpunk with max settings + path tracing with DLSS4 at 8K above 70fps. With this configuration if I could appreciate some input lag.
For the review we have had few games to analyze. Starting tomorrow, we will have 75 games available with DLSS 4 and we will prepare a more extensive video.

DLSS 4 llega mañana con las RTX 5080 y 5090 con una característica exclusiva para esta gama, Multi Frame Generation.
Multi Frame Generation nos permite multiplicar el framerate con 3 opciones: x2 (como el Frame Generation convencional de la serie 40), x3 y x4.
Los resultados de Multi Frame Generation son realmente sorprendentes. Poder alcanzar tasas de 200fps en juegos con Path Tracing era algo que no esperaba hasta dentro de 2 o 3 generaciones de GPUs.
El input lag es prácticamente imperceptible siempre que el juego se mantenga cercano a 60fps sin Multi Frame.
El resto de mejoras, gracias al nuevo modelo de DLSS Transformer, también se aplican a todos los modelos RTX en Super Resolution, Ray Reconstruction y Frame Generation (este último sólo en la serie 40).
El modelo Transformer mejora la calidad del reescalado de DLSS, la fidelidad visual de Ray Reconstruction y el framerate de Frame Generation.
RTX 5080 y 5090 son capaces de ejecutar Cyberpunk con settings al máximo + path tracing con DLSS4 a 8K por encima de los 70fps. Con esta configuración si he podido apreciar algo de input lag.
