Rubik's Cube - Plasma Build No. 3
1What I thought was a simple idea turned into one of the most complex things I have built in Plasma. Not only are Rubik's Cubes deceptively hard to solve, they are deceptively hard to build! Still I was able to make a sudo-mechanical cube in Plasma that actually works.
Plasma is a 3D Engendering Sandbox game by the developer Dry Licorice. In it you can build all sorts of mechanical devices, from cars, to robots, to pinball machines! It's a bit like building with Legos or Knex. You can also program your creations using the built-in visual programing language called Sketch. Sketch is quite versatile, and easy to learn, but it can be expanded even further by writing LUA scripts.
In this series I hope to showcase the various devices I have created within Plasma, many of which will be available to download in-game, or on the Steam Workshop. If I am able to teach some people about Sketch or Plasma, or inspire them to create their own builds, I will consider that an added bonus!
