Greetings fellow test subjects. Test Subject 1337 here for Aperture Gaming Reviews. They make it, we test it, you play it. And welcome to another edition of A Fast Aperture Review. Today on AFAR, we review Ruffy and the Riverside.

The game can be found here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1002260/Ruffy_and_the_Riverside/

We here at Aperture Gaming Reviews give this title solid 9 out of 10.

Quick note, I said there's no DLC in this game, but the Steam platform I got it for has the soundtrack, but nothing to alter the gameplay.

What caught my attention about this title was the texture swapping powers. I also liked the juxtaposition of the 2-D drawing style of some of the characters in the 3-D environment. This game is like Banjo-Kazooie meets Jak and Daxter. I describe the game like Photoshop and Illustrator as a game.

Ruffy is a bear, but I honestly think he looks like an Ewok. He and his bee friend Pip must try to save the land of Riverside from the evil cube king Groll. Ruffy has powers like the Marble stones, he can alter the environment an textures. This game is a fun mix of ideas and playstyles.

Thanks for watching, game on, and have a nice day.
