Running Robot Man 4 - Now In Development
6My fourth title in the series now in development. Running Robot Man is a series I’ve been developing since the start of my game development career back in 2018. It holds a very dear place in my heart. It’s a 3D action adventure game, which usually involves fighting off psychotic nightmare monsters while running around labyrinths searching for treasure lol. Inspired by my favourite games growing up, such as the Legend of Zelda series. Previous titles include Running Robot Man (the original), Lost Temple Treasure, and Eco Ronin (AKA running robot philosopher man). No idea how this one is going to go yet, typically these games start with a vague vision and then at some point in the development feel as if they take on a will of their own, and that I’m just the means through which they build themselves. What I do know however is that this one will be multiplayer game, and will have a greater emphasis on visuals than the previous games, and also an element of minimalism. I’m quite clear on how I want the game to feel and the themes that will be involved, and so now comes the fun part of seeing it actually manifest in its own way. Stay tuned for more. ✨🙏
