I'm Ruru and this is my Halo's Poser mod tutorial (simplified version) (Old, more detailed version is found here: https://youtu.be/NLTsMXfh04E beware of FPS lag, bad quality video, etc...)

I DID NOT make this mod, I'm only here to show you how it basically works. Credits go to the awesome people who shed sweat, tears and blood for making this amazing mod.

What it needs to work:

Make sure you have following mods:
- most recently updated FNIS http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811/?

- and XP32 Maximum Skeleton (extended) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68000/?
correctly installed.
I will NOT take responsibility if your character doesn't work correctly in game. Both can be found on Nexus. Just follow instructions given by the mod authors.

Halo's Poser mod can be found in the depths of the internet. Google is a tool you can use. It works just like any other animation mod out there. After installing just run GenerateFNISForUsers... if errors occur, you have done something wrong. Reinstall everything or contact the mod authors for further assistance.

FAQ:

1. My companion/lover got stuck into a pose, what do I do to fix this?

ANSWER:

ALWAYS SAVE BEFORE YOU START POSING YOURSELF AND YOUR FOLLOWERS! It's your last line of safety if something goes horribly wrong. Make sure your follower/slave/minion/whatever has her AI turned ON (check via console command by clicking him/her to get the REFID and then type TAI and press enter, if it's now turned OFF, repeat this by typing TAI again and pressing enter, it should now be turned ON, close the console) After this check the pose power you're using. If you have selected another pose ring in the middle of posing yourself, and forgotten to change the follower power, change the follower power to the one YOU are currently using and aim at your follower with the cursor and press the power activation button (default Z, the same you use to SHOUT) If nothing else works, worst case scenario return to a previous save (you keep at least one of them, right? RIGHT?).

2. Can I use this to make my followers hug me?

ANSWER: As in during a random dungeon run when you come across a spider and you're scared sh*tless? Uh... yes and no. This mod is for screenshot use only, you can't make your followers to hug you by using these poses just like that, but you can take a screenshot of your character being held by your follower on the pile of dead bandits or dried corpses, or whatever you fought. Look from elsewhere for such a mod that adds a huggle animation you can activate via dialogue or something.

3. This mod doesn't work at all. HELP!

ANSWER: You've done something wrong while installing. If nothing seems right, take it up to the mod authors for further assistance.

3.a: No rings appear in my inventory.

ANSWER: I checked the files of the newest edition of Halo's Poser. Apparently, the mod author did not make the right file paths for the mod manager to place the files correctly. You MUST do a manual installation in this case. Meaning, open the Data file in your Skyrim directory ( steam/steamapps/common/skyrim) and follow the file paths accordingly in Halo's poser mod files (extract the zip file to a different place first and THEN add the files to their right places.) For further help, please respectfully ask the mod author for assistance. We are humans, we make mistakes. Let's be nice and forgive and forget. Also, make sure to enable the mod via the launcher (or your mod manager)

4. What is that mod X you use?

ANSWER: Specify by giving me a timestamp. I have nearly 200 mods and it's hard to name one.

The dress my character wears: SC noble dress, not available anywhere anymore. If someone knows how to get it publicly, please let me know. I've had it for awhile on my mod list, so....

5. Special edition PC/XBoxOne/PS4?

ANSWER: Ask this from the mod authors. Most necessary files needed to make this work are huge and require some special tweaking, so I don't think getting this on consoles is possible, but once SKSE and other requirements are available for the PC release, I'm sure we can all enjoy this mod on the remastered version soon too.
