This is a video I've been planning to make for at least over a year, because I have a Kdenlive (my editing software) project that is from November 2021. In fact I even remember saying "This map is 10 years old" or something similar during the recording for said project. I held off on it making it for a long while because of how frustrating making it is, what with having to not only play the game, but also painstakingly edit all 45-60 minutes of it, the videos length varying depending on how well I performed when playing through the map.

I had actually started working on this video a couple days ago but every time I tried recording it, there would be instances where the video just froze for several seconds. A bit of experimenting led me to realize that this would happen when OBS would say "Encoding overloaded! Consider turning down video settings or using a faster encoding preset." I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and tried a bunch of potential solutions for hours, but nothing worked. Then it hit me that I should just set both OBS and the game's FPS to 60. As far as I can tell, that seems to have worked. I've reviewed the footage a good two or three times, and there only seems to be 1, maybe 2 instances where the footage freezes. This is only for a few frames each time, though, and both instances occurred during gameplay.

This video took about an hour to make but about 3 hours to edit. Hope you enjoy!
