This is a song by a great video game music cover artist, Ryan8bit! I discovered this guy many years ago, and this is one of my favorite pieces of his work. It is called "Can't Escape the Sorrow", from the soundtrack of my personal favorite RPG of all time, Final Fantasy IV (or as I first knew/played it, "Final Fantasy II") on Super Nintendo.

It's a really beautiful piece, appropriately haunting and melancholy, and it's one of the best songs from a game filled to the brim with incredible music. If you've never played FFIV before, please do go play it. It's truly an incredible game, both on it's own merits, and it's place in gaming history.
