Rydia's challenge dungeon speedrun
0kainkid188- So here is our speedrun of Rydia's challenge dungeon. Again, sorry for the bad quality. Compared to the video this is a response to, there are two changes I found that made our time slightly better.
1. Different moon phase- Having Black Magic power increased lets us take down the Demon Walls down approximately two turns faster.
2. Use of bands- This beats the other video's strategy with the exception of the critical hit from Luca. Even still, Bio would take care of the trap doors if Black Magic power was increased.
Equipment may have also helped improve our strategy over the other video, but I don't know what the characters had equipped in the other video(whether it was listed or not, I don't know, I just didn't bother to check).
Lockirby2- This speedrun only really came about because we were going to go through the dungeon a lot for the items, and found a reliable way to get through as fast as possible to shorten the time. We had a lot of luck in that the luck manipulation strategy for getting the "good" item left us with this set of enemies, though usually the double ice lizard battle is a surprise attack, which we managed to avoid this time around. However, I think we saved time elsewhere anyways, especially during the boss gobby battle (though we could have done better if we used Bio on the doors, but it it wouldn't have saved more than a few seconds anyways).
