UPDATE to the UPDATE on 2 sticks vs 4 sticks of Memory: Still all about dual rank vs single rank (not to be confused with dual channel). However, I'm not sure I was correct about my last note regarding all 16gb DIMMs as being dual rank so redacting that for now. Safest bet for best performance with 32gb is going to be 4x8gb if running memory at stock settings (XMP profile). Will update as more info becomes available.
