I've upgraded from Ryzen 1700X, and it looks great!
Auto-Boost is much more aggressive.
After installation with default bios settings (F6) auto-boost was even better, until 3600, but RAM was at 2200.
Here you can see Hynix LPX 3200 RAM (black one) is running stable at 3200 (XMP1), alliluyah !!! (it crashed immediately with 1700X)
All this with box air cooler, it is silent enough (very good for air cooler).
PC is running at 4K with Gigabyte Vega64 (top heater). Case is compact but has a good ventilation. Bios is the latest Beta for Ryzen 3000 series from the MSI website.
After hard gaming at 4K on Ultra, CPU temperature is always less than 90, and VRM (System) is less than 80. No crashes, system is absolutely stable. So looks like upgrading this motherboard is not reasonable. Video After Gaming is coming soon...
Did not try with liquid cooler yet, I'm not sure that it makes sense, and what do you think?
Thank you AMD !!!
I'm really satisfied from this upgrade :)
