If you've never heard of Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, you're in for a treat. It's an rpg where character creation plays a large part in your experience and as a result this will be a fairly lengthy part of the video in which I explain the reasons I choose this player build.

I'm going for a melee character that can hopefully use some form of persuasion later on to gain additional bits of dialogue. In games like this if you build your character horribly you can essentially mess yourself up long term. For example if you choose absolutely no combat skills or feats, you're not going to be too good in a fight.

This is why I focused (perhaps a bit too much) on my character's combat prowess. My reasoning is, better too much than too weak right? This is my first real attempt at playing this so don't expect a speed run or a completionist run. Though I will aim for as close to one as I can since I want to get fully immersed.

I am a bit concerned with my character's lockpicking and hacking but we'll see how this goes. At least I have blood buff for the beginning right? Considering exploration opens up a lot of options I would like to not be stunted in that department.
