S3 E5: Waning It Off Until Christmas | Using the phone camera pro mode.
2This premiere is rather short this time around! It is 12 minutes and 51 seconds long. Also, do you know why i put that at the top of the description? This is to inform you of how long each premiere is, so you can join in at the oppourtune time, especially if you read the descriptions of these videos before they begin.
In today's LLS video, we use the pro mode camera, as we sift through a matter of 2 weeks, to get to Christmas now! However, you do not see anything that happens on Christmas here, because the final clip ended the video just 3 days before Christmas! The next episode will probably be whatever happens after Christmas. BTW i wrote this AS SOON as it was uploaded, so IDK, something is bound to happen, and Christmas is near, and i asked for a telephoto lens, so who knows.
Maybe we will get that for Christmas, and get some really good moon shots without the need of the telescope... Allows quicker set up and footage.... Meh, just see below reasons for telephoto lens.
Reasons for telephoto lens:
- This one can zoom 22-36x, just plenty to get the entire surface of the moon
- can make longer timelapses using the lens, vs the telescope due to how much zoom it has
- Quick set up, takes less than 2 minutes to set up, and you don't even need a tripod, but it is recommended.
- More Portable for quick shots:
~ can be taken in the car, (vs the telescope which is an at home item)
~ can get nice shots from windowsill without using too much space, or blinds getting in way.
~ nice and easy
- comes with tripod in case you want it, as well as lens cleaner cloth
- not expensive

Welcome to today’s live stream
IF THIS STREAM IS NOT A MOON STREAM, THIS DOES NOT APPLY IN THE DESCRIPTION. But continuing on: I am using a Gskyer AZ70400 Refractor Telescope on a AZ tripod mount. I am either using the 25mm lens or 10mm lens. The 25mm lens zooms in more, and the 10mm less, so I will commonly use the 10mm lens. Also note that the streams may be less than an hour long, so get in here before it ends! The goal is to see great imagery of the moon, no matter the phase of it, but I especially want to see the golden handle effect on the waxing gibbous moon. Also once the stream ends, I will take screenshots of the best parts and post it on pinterest, check me out there https://www.pinterest.com/j8craft0108/ . I will also implement timestamps to the video replay, and open it up to the public in case you miss the stream.
