S.A.B.E.R - Gunner combo review | Magic chess meta | Magic chess season 13
32In this game, I used the S.A.B.E.R - Gunner combo, using the commander skill, Petal Stars (Rya skill 1), picking the star cores, S.A.B.E.R - Dark and Gunner - Fire, with a 3 star Johnson and a hyper carry Kimmy and in this video, I review the combo and how good it is in the current meta.
MAIN SYNERGIES:
✅ S.A.B.E.R (3/6) - At the beginning of each round, summon 1/2 S.A.B.E.R Unitron suit(s) that can hold up to 3 heroes and inherit 35%/45% HP and 100%/165% attack from them. When a suit is destroyed, surrounding enemies will be stunned for 2.5s.
✅ Gunner (2/4/6) - Gunners gain 20%/25%/30% extra crit chance and 50%/90%/150% crit damage.
✅ Northern Vale (3) - Northern Vale heroes gain full Mana at the beginning of each round.
AUXILIARY SYNERGIES:
✅ Weapon Master (3/6/9) - Allied heroes can convert 25%/50%/100% of their damage dealt into HP. When at full HP, Weapon Masters can turn the converted HP into shield (up to 20%/40%/80% max HP).
STAR-CORES:
✅ S.A.B.E.R. Star-core: Dark (3 star Johnson): The Star-core carrier won't enter a Mecha Suit. Every Mecha Suit on the board will grant 500 Physical Defense and 500 Magic defense to the Star-core carrier.
✅ Gunner Star-Core: Fire (2 star Kimmy): After performing 5 Basic Attack(s), the next Basic Attack will create an explosion, dealing damage equal to 80% Physical Attack to the target and nearby enemies.
COMMANDER SKILL:
✅ Petal Stars - Rya skill 1: Active: Usable after Placement Stage. Select a hero and gain a random Synergy Crystal from this hero's synergies. Can only be used 1 time(s). Can only obtain Synergy Crystals that are listed in the Equipment Book. If no Synergy Crystals exist for the hero's Synergies, a random one will be given.
EQUIPMENT:
✅ Revitalize (Johnson):
Unique Passive - Revitalize: Summons a Healing Spring for 5s when HP is below 50%, restoring 5% HP every 1s for allies within the area.
✅ Star-Fall Blade (Kimmy): +10% Attack Speed.
Unique Passive - Regression: Reduces the target's Star Level after 5 continuous Basic Attacks against the target (reduces up to 1 times on the same target, not including immortality resurrection). When this effect triggers, it will interrupt the target's skill casting.
✅ Gunner Crystal (Freya):
Unique Passive - Imperial: Equip to get Gunner Synergy, (Not Stackable)
✅ Berserker's Fury (Kimmy): +100 Physical Attack, +10% Crit Chance, +40% Crit Damage.
✅ Dominance Ice (Johnson): +30 Physical Defense, +1500 Max HP.
Unique Passive - Arctic Cold: Reduces nearby enemy heroes' Attack Speed by 20%. Increases Mana Regen by 15% when taking damage.
✅ Science Crystal (Rya):
Unique Passive - Expansion: Increase Capacity by 1.
✅ Sea Halberd (Kimmy): +100 Physical Attack.
Unique Attribute: +40% Physical Penetration.
Unique Passive - Life Drain: Basic attack reduces target HP by Regen by 60% for 5 seconds.
✅ Helcurt's Curse (Claude): +10% Attack Speed, +30 Physical Defense.
Unique Passive - Helcurt's Curse: When any enemy hero casts a skill for the first time, silence enemy units within 1 grid(s) for 3s (not including the hero that triggered the effect)
✅ Golden Staff (Claude): +10% Attack Speed.
Unique Passive - Impulse: Each Basic Attack increases Attack Speed by 2.5% for 3s. This effect can stack indefinitely and each new stack refreshes the duration.
