My fourth shiny for this year's Safari Week! Shiny Shinx appears after 8,364 REs in one of my Soul Silver games! Question is, did I catch it?

Safari Week is where you shiny hunt in the safari zone and great marsh of generation 3 or 4 games in order to try and obtain a safari zone shiny Pokemon. There is a chance of the Pokemon fleeing from the battle which makes it all the more fun to hunt for them and attempt the challenge!
