There have been many retro inspired pixel style 2d action platforming games over the last few years since the beginning of the indie renaissance, and Saga of Weil is certainly one of them. A bit, well, considerably rough around the edges, it's a cute little game that can be enjoyed as the first steps of a promising developer, but can't hold it's own against the many alternatives within the genre.
