Sage in the Grass
8Something I made. I’ve been trying to follow my intuition more. One day I started reading the original edition of leaves of grass, when I thought, “this feels familiar. Why?” And I felt compelled to grab a copy of the Tao Te Ching, I kept them both open side by side and kept alternating verses and felt like I was reading one idea. Or reading a third thing that illuminated both. It felt playful like two parents explaining the same idea in their own way, sometimes like a dialog, sometimes like someone narrating another’s actions, or even sometimes like a Chinese to American translation of expanding consciousness.
