Saints Row: The Third, also known as Saints Row 3, SRTT or SR3, is an action-adventure open world video game developed by Volition, Inc. and published by THQ. The game world is the fictional city of Steelport, and the story focuses on the urban gang war between the Saints and The Syndicate, a rival criminal group. Saints Row: The Third takes place "years after" the events of Saints Row 2. The game begins with the 3rd Street Saints planning to rob a bank in Stilwater. After the execution of the plan goes awry (partly due to Josh Birk tripping a silent alarm), The Protagonist, Shaundi, and Johnny Gat find themselves in prison, only to be bailed out by Viola and Kiki DeWynter following the orders of Phillipe Loren.
