In Episode 28, we return to the radioactive SAM node to begin full-scale mining operations. The ore, surrounded by dangerously radioactive uranium rocks, presents a unique challenge, but we carefully set up a miner and connect conveyor belts from a safe distance. Once the conveyor line is running back to our main base, we analyze SAM Ore in the MAM, unlocking new research paths.
With the SAM reanimation recipe completed, we automate production using a constructor, which leads to unlocking the SAM Fluctuator recipe. Next, we begin producing SAM Fluctuators in a manufacturer, which opens the door to the most exciting development yet: Dimensional Depots. These depots allow us to upload resources into a global storage system that can be accessed from anywhere in the world, providing a huge inventory management upgrade for future exploration.
The episode concludes with us testing the basics of using the new Dimensional Depot technology, preparing us for greater efficiency and freedom in future adventures.
