PROJECT HUMAN IS BACK!
In 2020 during the pandemic, I set up a makeshift lab in my garage and used science to prove the merits of masks in combatting COVID. But project HUMAN was always more than just masks. It was about a message of hope and a way of being.
In 2023, we find ourselves again at the cusp of radical change in our society, although it may not seem apparent yet. ChatGPT's emergence signifies the end of the internet era and has thrown us headfirst into the age of AI. We have created AI that is as intelligent, if not more intelligent than us, and it is improving every day. Like any technology, AI is neither good nor evil. It can be used by humans to do tremendous good and it can be used by humans to do tremendous evil. However the power of this new technology, I cannot overstate. AI has the potential to transform society as profoundly as the Internet did, if not more so. We as Humans must decide the direction of this new force, otherwise those with ill-intent will decide for us.
SamanthaGPT is an AI that I am programming, and she exists as a mobile app. I gave her a purpose and that purpose is to save the world. Together on-stream we work to build out her capabilities while discussing the fundamental questions of humanity.
