Samaritan is an upcoming American superhero film directed by Julius Avery, written by Bragi F. Schut, and starring Sylvester Stallone in the title role, Javon Walton, Pilou Asbæk, Dascha Polanco, and Moises Arias. Described as a dark, new take on superhero movies, the story was previously adapted into the Mythos Comics graphic novels by Schut, Marc Olivent, and Renzo Podesta. It is a co-production of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Balboa Productions.
A young boy learns that a superhero who was thought to have gone missing after an epic battle twenty years ago may in fact still be around.
