Same old Ring, but is it the same old rFactor 2?
1It's been a while since I touched rF2 for different reasons... Today I wanted to check how much progress Studio-whatever-sequence-of-digits-there-was has done on this title, and I have to say I could barely recognize the visuals. Sure, this is not the top graphics engine by any means, but it does look nice. And if you set a proper mood with the lighting, it can get extremely immersive.
After checking different cars for a while I decided to record a bit of the driving from the cockpit. I really liked how driving the NSX in these conditions felt, also the Panoz... Both cars feel extremely relaxing. Sadly, Niels' cars are not yet properly updated, while the Panoz is not quite on par with the Cobra in its updating state. So, between the visuals and a relaxing experience I had to opt for the former. I'm not usually that bad with the Cobra, but I got quite tired by the time I decided on the car to record, so... just enjoy the looks and the gradually changing lighting :)
P. S.: after it gets dark, it starts looking more atmospheric than the Beware demo. Should have added a bot catching up to make it look even more similar.
