Samsung Alias 2 Eink http://www.netbooknews.com The Samsung Alias 2 selling feature is its dual-hinge design allows it to flip open to show off a keyboard with an EInk Display. Since the messaging handset can be opened in portrait or landscape mode thanks to the dual hinge it's important that the keys rotate as the device changes orientation. When the Alias 2 is opened vertically as a flip phone it has a traditional numeric keypad, but the keys change to an alphabet-only keyboard when the device is opened in landscape mode.

The display is a 2.6-inch QVGA screen and support for Verizon's mobile broadband (EV-DO) service. It also features a 2.0 megapixel camera which is capable of video if you so desire. Bluetooth is also standard and the handset offers 300 minutes of talk time or up to 336 hours of standby time.
