Samsung electronics reported a likely drop in Q3 Profit on October 11 as the effect of an ongoing global chip crisis. The World's largest chip maker estimated a fall in profit of 2.4 trillion won in Q3 vs 10.85 trillion won last year. While the profit might be significantly low from last year, it is higher that Q1 and Q2. In Q1, Samsung reported the lowest profit since 2009.
