6A test report of a new mid-range Samsung smartphone has appeared on the Geekbench website. The publication revealed the processor model and other details about the device called the Galaxy M53 5G, which has not yet been announced by the manufacturer.
According to Geekbench, the gadget with the article number SM-M536B is built on the basis of the MediaTek Dimensity 900 mobile platform. The configuration with 6 GB of RAM was tested - its result was 733 points in a single-threaded discipline and 2224 when loading all CPU cores. The device was running Android 12, presumably with the One UI 4 shell.
Other specifications of the device are not reported. According to insiders, the novelty may be similar to last year's M52 5G model, equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In addition, the smartphone is likely to inherit from its predecessor a capacious battery (at least 5000 mAh), which has already become the hallmark of the Galaxy M series. The announcement date and price of the device are still unknown.
