I thought I would share my experience so far with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ as I use it in the context of being a "facecam" for YouTube, in a dark or sometimes-lit room.
I test various modes such as the default video mode and Live Focus, then switch to Open Camera which is available as a free third-party app on the Play Store.
ALL videos in this are completely untouched after recording, that is, there is NO post-processing (EXCEPT for the fact I had to vertically flip all of the videos taken in Open Camera, because it didn't seem to orient itself correctly). I did add some gain to the audio - I have a tendency to talk at ASMR levels.
