Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Cortana vs. Samsung Galaxy S6 S-Voice - Which Is Better?
485As you may have seen in my previous video about Cortana for Android on a Galaxy S6 Edge, it performs great. But Samsung already has a personal assistant called S-Voice. So which of these do you think performs better? Let’s find out!
The experiment was done with Cortana on my Galaxy S6 Edge and S-Voice on my Galaxy S6. What we first did was a speed comparison asking to search for “cat”. After getting the result, Cortana gave a simple Bing search for the word cat while SVoice gave images and details of cats. So the latter seemed to be the better or more intelligent result.
What we next asked for was the answer for a calculation and Cortana gave the correct answer while S-Voice said “Nothing. It doesn’t matter”, which was extremely weird. But when told to turn on Bluetooth, SVoice could do it while the other couldn’t, showing that it clearly cannot turn features on and off.
When we tried to set 2 alarms, we were unable to set 2 alarms but 1. The feature looked better on S-Voice since it had a small popup with the alarm duration. For some questions both struggled a little bit but Cortana always sounds more natural and better in answering.
