This is a play-through using Kuroko in the PS1 version of Samurai Shodown 3: Blades of Blood. Read on below for more information...

Kuroko is a "mirror match" character, meaning that he clones the opponent by morphing into him or her at the start of a match. He is an unplayable character in the game.

Here's more information on him:

---- Playing as Kuroko can be flawed, because sometimes when you win a match with him, he doesn't morph back into Kuroko... and when that happens the game cannot progress.

---- When you reach to fight CPU Kuroko in mirror match, the game will freeze because Kuroko isn't programmed to morph into Kuroro (there's nothing there to morph into anyway). Notice how Haohmaru's morphing animations are used before the game freezes. You can see this starting at 10:17 in the video.

---- When you reach to fight Zankuro, the game will freeze because Kuroko isn't programmed to morph into Zankuro. Notice how Haohmaru's morphing animations are used before the game freezes. You can see this starting at 15:50 in the video.

---- Due to the game freezing against Zankuro at the end, it means that you cannot progress. However, you can use the Stage Select feature in the options screen to bypass him and see Kuroko's "ending".

---- When he morphs into the opponent, he'll often have the exact same colour palette as the opponent.

---- He can use Slash or Bust mode. It makes no difference to him.

---- On the VS screen, he does not have a name.

---- In-fight, he does not have a name under his lifebar.

===== About Kuroro =====
He was the umpire in the background who refereed your matches in the previous SS games. In SS3, he is just a mirror match character.

===== About PS1 Samurai Shodown 3 =====
PS1 SS3 is a mediocre port. Due to the PS1's hardware limitations, a lot of animation sprite frames have been cut for the characters and the game suffers from slowdown quite a bit. Hence why some people called this version of the game "Samurai Slowdown".

The loading times are quite bad, but this cannot be avoided of course. On the upside, the game takes advantage of the PS1 hardware and uses the SS3 AST soundtrack.
