Sanitarium (Chapter 1 - The Tower Cells)
28Sanitarium is a 1998 psychological horror point-and-click adventure (incidentally winning an award for best adventure game in that year). Sanitarium tells the slowly unfolding and mysterious story of our character who wakes up in a gloomy asylum with our head wrapped in bandages after a car crash, wondering how we got here, how we can get out, and most importantly who we even are!
In this very brief intro and Chapter 1, we see our character driving home after making an intriguing discovery at his place of work. When his brakes don't work, the car slams through a guard rail and we come to an some kind of gloomy and creepy asylum.
