Father Christmas has paid a special visit to HMS Oardacious, one of the military teams competing in the 'world's toughest row' - the 3000-mile Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.

Monday will see military personnel and veterans among the 43 teams taking on the challenge.

A record number of entrants will battle sleep deprivation, hallucinations and hunger all with the same objective – to take on the unique experience of crossing an ocean in a rowing boat.
