The Army Men franchise made so many games in the 90s and 2000s. I played several from the series growing up, mainly Army Men 3D on PS1. I didn't discover there was an RTS in the franchise until years after it's release. My first experience with it was rather brief and I only got to play a couple missions. When I saw it on Steam I knew I needed to buy and play it again.

The voice acting is usually pretty good in Army Men games and this one is no exception. The graphics are also nice on the eyeballs. The gameplay is a little clunky compared to some other RTS games at the time and it lacks some of the complexity but I reckon this was mostly targeted at kids. A tough task with a strategy game. I really like it and it pushes a lot of my nostalgia buttons. Footage in this video is from the PC version on Steam. Army Men RTS is also on PlayStation 2 and GameCube.
