Hmmm well I was browsing through my old magazines....on the toilet as you do haha......and I saw a screenshot of this game and it looked like Who Dares Wins 2 but for 1.99 from our little Colin McRae Rally producers in the twee old innocent 8 bit days.

So....dragged it from my collection and started up VICE and here we are.

Interesting because it is a horizontal scroller not vertical at first....plays OK though.
Sideways Ikari if you like. Not sure why you turn into a jeep really. Anyway the levels alternate between this and then a Green Beret style game....and it seems you have to bayonette the SOBs as you have no bullets hmmmm not liking this level at all but hey I suffer for the cause obviously.

Certainly less crap than many 1.99 games I bought with MY pocket money!
