We all have to deal with disappointment. It is a part of life. If there was no disappointment it would mean that nothing really mattered to you.
We have to have desires. We have to experience that. Being awakened doesn't mean you have not desires. It means that they are not regarded as personal. Awakening is not an escape from human feelings. It is a redemption of them, a transformation, a metamorphosis.

On the spiritual path, you will have desires and so you will know disappointment, even heartbreak. Use it as a time to to let go of more expectations and cultivate a trust in the ultimate goodness of being.
