A brand-new study, published in February 2022 by Cary Woodruff, Ewan Wolff, Matthew Wedel, Sophie Dennison, and Larry Witmer, describes the remains of a sauropod dinosaur that preserved the effects of an avian-style pulmonary infectious disease – the first time such a disease has ever been described in a dinosaur.
