Almost Everyone who plays the Wii version seems to bump into this glitch where the game would sometimes corrupt your own save file. But the Ps2 Version on the other hand doesn’t have this at all.
If you want some tips to avoid this problem, I recommend this: Don’t Pause and Quit the Game or open the home menu and go to the Wii menu. Turn off the Wii or Reset When in the hub world. Don’t Turn off the Wii during save states or loading screens. Turn off autosave and then immediately turn it back on. I hope that helps for you.
