After some experimenting, I think some money could be saved by upgrading silver primm sword 1st. It is assumed that the silver sword is farmed and therefore not factored into the cost.

The current market for silver sword (ship 2) is around 1,000 n-meseta. Even if method 2 requires 13 more silver sword than method 1, it is only a value difference of 13,000. i.e. overall saving with method 2 is still higher.

PS: I'm using gold primm sword as an illustration, do replace it with other fodders (such as silver primm sword +6) because gold primm sword can be exchanged for augmentation success +10%.
