SC 3.0 - My First "WOW" Moment in 3.0

I realize that none of the following events are really all that new, and none of them are things the community (and myself) weren't already expecting. I'd seen all of these things done countless times in video, and done some of them previously myself in 3.0 PTU and live over the last month or so. However, for some reason, they all just clicked on this night and (for me at least) the whole scenario just blew my mind. The only things that could have made it better would have been more people and higher framerates. ;)
It started with me attempting to land at ArcCorp 157 for an everyday cargo run. Two players were already there. When I landed, after some brief discussion, I offered to spawn one of my Ursa Rovers for Lord_Raptor, who was having problems with his.
He was there in a Connie. He wanted to know if I wanted to go to Daymar and summon it there and drive around, but I told him to go ahead and load it in his Connie and take it there while I finished my cargo run.
I was inside the vehicle terminal building when he approached, so I started recording him getting into it and driving it off that pad. I liked the look of the shot, so when he got out of view of the window, I ran to the trade terminal building and continued to watch until he loaded it and took off in his Connie.
I continued on my merry way with my cargo run, but then had the idea to meet up with him afterwards on Daymar, as I still had a WP for the Ursa. I left this cargo run footage in even though it's not really very interesting, just to maintain continuity and as an example to friends interested in the game. Eventually I met him at Eager Flats in my Cutlass, where he was about to head out towards Shubin in the Ursa. Considering the current contest to drive the opposite route, I suggested to him that we reload the Ursa in the Connie, and then switch sites and make an attempt at the route.
He agreed, we loaded the Ursa, took off, and were only a few kilometers away from Shubin (it was visible) when a rogue Warlock buzzed by us, EMP'ing us right out of the sky. It pinned us down and as I vainly tried to get us into the Ursa and away, Raptor got stuck and the ship exploded. I died, but he survived still stuck, and eventually quit the server.
I, on the other hand, returned to Shubin to see if the Warlock was still around. It was, so I nuked it on the pad. I screwed around for a bit after that and logged off with a huge stupid grin on my face.
