Trust between game players and studios / publishers seems to be at an all time low. Reasonable and unreasonable Cynicism surrounds many game titles, and Star Citizen is a great place to start with this subject. In my opinion the game is not a scam, but some people feel it is. That "controversy" itself, opens up a wider discussion for the entire games industry.
