The 25 Cards of Christmas is BACK! All throughout December, we will go over the lore of Magic: The Gatherings greatest Commanders. EDH is the most popular format in MTG and we celebrate it by looking at the backstory of your favorite Commanders. Atogatog is a strange and rather gross creature from the plane of Dominaria. The defector king of its own race of malformed lizard humanoids who are more beast than sentient life. They are voracious race, eating anything they can fit their mouths around. They take in anything they find and their attributes change depending on what they eat. This is the secret to their survival as a race, their ability to adapt. Atogatog has taken this to an extreme, feeding on its own kind to gain their own powers for his own. Ruling over this dim witted lot, Atogatog may be one of the greatest monsters in all of MTG.
