529The origin story -- or stories -- of how Sub-Zero got his scar.
The old timeline, the new timeline, head-canon or fanon -- it almost makes no difference. After all, if Mortal Kombat 11 taught us anything, it's that there's a timeline where everything happened. Normally that's bad news, but at least take solace in the fact that this means that there is a timeline where Sub-Zero got his scar while trying to escape the Lin Kuei. Other more official explanations (e.g. Kung Lao, Kano) are also included.
