8Aside from the fact that he's my favorite MK character, Reptile wins due to several reasons. Firstly, he has superior skills in numerous areas and the powers of invisibility, acid spit, lashing tongue, and climb/pounce/slide/maneuvers/reflexes. This is not limited to the game variation. Even in the movie verse, Reptile takes strong precedence as Scorpion and Sub-Zero are slaves whilst Reptile is a number one General directly under Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn. Additionally, Reptile's fighting skills are top tier. The only reason he loses in the Mortal Kombat 9 and X story mode is because he's an actual full villain character whereas Scorpion and Sub-Zero are heroes or anti-heroes on some occasions and the writers can't make villains win because that would detriment the actual story-line of the games. Reptile is potentially much stronger than Scorpion and Sub-Zero. The only time opponents see him is directly before his devastating blow.
