NEW Official Speedrun Rules:

1. You must use the latest version of Scoutdigo Community Edition. (1.2.2 CE is public, but 1.2.3 IS allowed if you have a copy.)
2. Only Peppino runs are allowed, any other characters will be an instant DQ.
3. Changing characters mid-run isn't allowed.
4. Infinite speed is disallowed.
5. Game SFX and video from the game needs to be reasonably loud and
clear with no editing or artifacts.
6. The HUD must be clearly visible at all times.
7. The entire game must remain visible with no overlays/minimal overlay
blocking it.
8. Macros are not allowed, and each button may only be bound to one
action. You may, however, bind multiple buttons to one action.
9. Using the debug console during runs is strictly forbidden.
10. Enabling cheats (anything under the misc. section of the modded option)
and/or perks is disallowed.
11. Funny HUD must be disabled.
12. Hitstun is OPTIONAL. You are allowed to have it off.
13. The palette swap mechanic is only allowed if you need to free yourself
from a softlock.
14. Wrong warping is allowed.
15. NJA Upwarp is allowed.
16. Putting yourself OOB is disallowed.
17. "Setting up" runs (bringing the shotgun from another level, using the
ladder glitch, etc.) beforehand is disallowed.
18. MUSIC AND SFX MODIFICATIONS ARE ALLOWED. Any modification that
changes other gameplay (including visual, EXCLUDING text edits) in any way
will result in an instant DQ.
