Content creators tell us all the time that we shouldn't rely on star ratings and attributes when making transfer decisions in Football Manager. But what should you look at instead? I walk you through my scouting and transfer setup in my current Football Manager 2023 save with Yanbian FC. We have no star ratings and no visible attributes: nothing is present except for a generic scouting report. And, yes, it is still possible to have great transfers.
