Trying to build a 2 kVA UPS around two 7 Ah lead-acid batteries is ludicrous; even high-spec 7 Ah batteries are rated for maximum discharge currents of around 50 A - that's a 1,2 kW limit reached before you even need to consider losses in the UPS, and discharging at that current is going to limit your battery life cycle to only a few cycles.

At least the transformer is big.
