To add Code Block in Scratch, all you have to do is drag and drop it from left to the right.
That is why Scratch is called "drag and drop programming".

Or if you need more specific, step by step description :
1. left mouse button click on the Block you want
2. hold / do not release, and drag it in the right coding window
3. release the left mouse button

That's it !
It is not too much but it is a start !
