In previous video we have learned how to connect Scratch code blocks.
But sometimes you will also need to disconnect them.
It can be because you made some error, or added too much blocks, you don't need all of them anymore, whatever,...

Process of disconnecting is very similar to connecting, only in opposite direction.
Instead of pushing blocks one into another to join and connect them, we pull them apart by dragging one further from another.

And the only way to do it is to pick lower block and drag it away to bottom.
So, if you pick top one, it will not work, it will just move the whole group of blocks to another position.

Instead of picking only one block, you can also pick a group of block and disconnect it by same principle, just drag it away and below.
This way you can make bigger changes to your code.

And same as with connecting, here when we disconnect blocks we also have visual reminder on how to do it.
And that is grey, shadow like, area which will be visible while you are disconnecting the blocks.
So, while dragging, once you are out of the grey area, you are safe, your blocks are disconnected and you can release the left mouse button.

It maybe sounds strange to read the description here or watch the video, so it's the best for you to try it yourself in Scratch in practice.

Keep on learning, keep on Scratching !
