Listen to makiten stumble on his words and get tired of multiple takes as he tries (and fails) to speak like someone who's not autistic! Maybe one day he'll see the value of writing a script!

In software "engineering," a prevailing notion is the Gospel of Code, where, if only everyone knew how to write another by-the-numbers "Angry Birds" clone, the world would be better. The only problem with that is programming is not the end-all, be-all of roles, and given the sector of snake oil sales known as "code bootcamps," it's easy to make learning something as irrelevant as Javascript a lucrative business by promising career success.

Another thing that makes this troublesome is that very few of the mouthpieces in this industry talk about the other side, convincing people coders live in a utopia where they are free to look at Reddit all day and argue about JS frameworks. Like any profession, people get burned out, frustrated, and outright disgusted with programming, or, even if they love it, they have a real life and aren't into masturbating to Felicia Day (or Pete Cashmore, apparently) after learning how to use lambda functionality in Python.

At 10 minutes, you'll be sure to want him to shut up forever about programming!
