Makiten, here! I'm back to complain about the wonderful world of online fan communities, particularly what happens when they interject their mundane social and political ideologies on to the only place where they have some semblance of power. It's just too bad nobody told them it's a place they can't put on their resume, not like they need one. It's one thing to feel strongly about a piece of entertainment (though for the record, it's still childish and excessive), but it's another thing to be a 36 year old man who postures about "intellectual curiosity" on a forum devoted to 30-year-old children's animes. These people are so high on themselves that Snoop Dogg had to call an intervention.

Remember when people enjoyed things and maybe every so often had a spat about who was the strongest or something else similarly inane? Well now we need to talk about the apparent "social issues" ad infinitum and label people we don't like/agree with as "hateful", "cuck", "MRA", "gamergater", "anti-PC", "feminist", and my personal favorite "BLM shitstain" just for having a different opinion on shoehorning in LGBT, South Asian, African, etc. characters so that insecure NEETs can feel some sense of misplaced pride in their ethnic background. Seeking validation through old cartoons? I guess so.
